Campania for the climate. New ideas for environmental sustainability
The round table La Campania for the climate will be held at the University of Sannio on Tuesday 24 May. New ideas for environmental sustainability. The event, organized by the Environmental Sustainability Coordination of the Waste Management Observatory of the Campania Region, will be hosted at 9.30, in Room 2 of the educational center of the Department of Science and Technology in Via dei Mulini (in the photo).
The confrontation between experts, teachers, entrepreneurs and administrators on the issues of environmental sustainability represents a preparatory consultation, for the sharing of strategies, in view of the Regional Forum on water, air, waste, circular economy, the ecological challenge of the Campania Region for well-being and development.
The round table will be opened by greetings from the rector of the University of Sannio Gerardo Canfora, the mayor of Benevento Clemente Mastella and the president of Confidustria Benevento Oreste Vigorito.
Introduced by Enzo De Luca, president of the ORGR Regional Observatory for Campania Waste Management. Speakers: Antonello Barretta, General Manager Integrated Water and Waste Cycle Environmental Assessments and Authorizations; Francesco Pepe, Full Professor of Chemical Plants at the Engineering Department of the University of Sannio; Carmine Guarino, Full Professor of Plant Biology of the Department of Science and Technology of the University of Sannio; Stefano Sorvino, general manager of Arpa Campania. Moderated by Rosa Marmo, manager of the management of protected natural resources - Protection and safeguarding of the marine and coastal habitat - Natural parks and reserves.
The debate will be open to teachers and students of the Samnite university.
