The event, with the patronage of the University of Sannio, the Municipality of Benevento and the Province of Benevento, is organized by the Historical Institute of the Risorgimento-Samnite delegation.

The communications of prof. Carmine Pinto, from the University of Salerno, "Mazzini Pisacane and the Sapri expedition", by prof. Pietro Finelli, scientific director of the Domus Mazziniana “Benevento between literary myth and revolutionary strategies in Giuseppe Mazzini”, prof. Gaetano Pecora, president of the Historical Institute of Sannio and professor at UNISANNIO "Salvemini, Mazzini and the two socialisms", will continue prof. Franco Vallocchia of the La Sapienza University of Rome "The Roman Republic of 1849 and the students of the La Sapienza University", concludes prof. Antonio Gisondi emeritus of the University of Salerno "Mazzini, Mazziniani and Mazzinianism in the Sannio".

The interventions will be punctuated by readings of Mazzinian passages, read by students of the "P. Giannone" Classical Lyceum of Benevento and "Virgilio di San Giorgio del Sannio" Classical Lyceum and selected together with teachers Lorella De Lucia, Evelyn Coviello, Veronica Russo, Vincenzina Mogavero, Nicola Sguera and Mariangela Leone.

The event will be attended by the student association of Unisannio DEMMIS, participation will recognize CFUs to law students. In addition to the exhibition of Mazzinian posters, the Guida Bookshop will organize a sales point for books on a Risorgimento theme and there will be works by writers associated with ISRI del Sannio. The event will be attended by Ukrainian singer Tetyana Shyshnyak. The event will be opened by the institutional greetings of the mayor of the Municipality of Benevento Clemente Mastella, the president of the Province of Benevento Nino Lombardi and the rector of UNISANNIO Gerardo Canfora.
