World Intellectual Property Day
World Intellectual Property Day
On April 26 each year, World Intellectual Property Day is celebrated, established in 2001 by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to emphasize the importance of these rights in order to foster technological progress and promote cultural development. From time to time, attention is focused on a specific profile and on a particular message. For April 26, 2022, the theme was chosen: IP and Youth: Innovating for a Better Future. Attention is focused on the role of young people who, with their creativity, can find innovative solutions to build the foundations for a better future.
Come si legge sul sito dell’Organizzazione Mondiale, «across the globe, young people are stepping up to innovation challenges, using their energy and ingenuity, curiosity and creativity to steer a course towards a better future. Innovative, energetic and creative minds are helping to drive the changes we need to move to a more sustainable future. Discover how intellectual property rights can support the youth of tomorrow to create a better future».
