Research is the main factor of national and international visibility of a university. The recent Research Quality Assessment (VQR) provided extremely positive results of the research activity carried out at the University of Sannio which, although a medium-small university, has acquired over time results that place it in a top position both with respect to regional competitors, and with respect to national universities of the same size category.
