Research Committee

The Research Committee, governed by Article 19 of the University Statute, supports the Department Director—who also chairs the committee—in coordinating and evaluating research activities.

The Committee provides opinions and makes proposals regarding the monitoring, assessment, and quality evaluation of research activities, as well as the implementation of measures aimed at increasing both their quantity and quality.

It also offers opinions for the evaluation of research activities and organizational responsibilities of individual professors and researchers.

This collegial body is composed of an equal number of full professors, associate professors, and researchers, all of whom have an appropriate scientific background and are appointed through an electoral process.
