The provisions relating to the enrollment of foreign students are illustrated in detail on the website of the Ministry of University and Research, to which express reference is made.

EU CITIZENS, NON-EU CITIZENS REGULARLY RESIDING IN ITALY AND ITALIAN CITIZENS WITH EDUCATION RECEIVED ABROAD

Citizens belonging to these categories can enroll under the same conditions as Italian citizens.

Enrollment is carried out electronically directly at the UNIVERSITALY Portal, in compliance with the terms and provisions established for access to Study Programs, which is specified in the appropriate sections of this website.

Academic qualifications obtained abroad must be accompanied by the Diploma Supplement or Italian translation, legalization and "declaration of value on site" issued by the competent Italian diplomatic representation competent for the territory. Upon arrival in Italy, this documentation must be delivered in original to the U.O. "Student Careers" for completing the enrollment procedure.

NON-EU CITIZENS RESIDING ABROAD

For obtaining a VISA for study reasons, it is necessary to submit a pre-enrolment application through the UNIVERSITALY Portal exclusively in the period indicated annually by the MUR.

This application will automatically be verified and validated by the University of Sannio and subsequently forwarded by the University to the reference diplomatic-consular representation indicated by the student. Through the UNIVERSITALY Portal, the interested party will be constantly updated on the status of the application, as well as on the fulfilments necessary for both accessing the study course and obtaing the visa.

Academic qualifications obtained abroad must be accompanied by an Italian translation, legalization and a "declaration of local value" issued by the competent Italian diplomatic mission for the territory. Upon arrival in Italy, this documentation must be delivered in original to the U.O. "Student Careers" for completing the enrollment procedure.

Knowledge of the Italian language

The University has to verify the linguistic competence for access to the degree courses. This proof must be supported before the visa is issued, with the exception of the cases of exemption specified in the ministerial provisions before mentioned.

The University of Sannio, in collaboration with CISIA, prepares test TEST ITA-L2 for verifying the knowledge of the Italian language of male and female students from non-EU countries residing abroad and applying for a visa, and who want to enroll at the University of Sannio.

It will be possible to take the test remotely at the students' homes (TEST@HOME) or at the university (TEST at the university) in the specific sessions possibly scheduled by the University.

Registration for the ITA-L2 TEST is carried out by the competent University offices after pre-registration on the UNIVERSITALY Portal. An email will be sent to the student with confirmation of registration for the test and with instructions for accessing the test.
