The areas concerning the research relate to feasibility studies, configuration of production systems, production capacities, study of production flows, maintenance and safety plans, production information systems, sizing of interphase warehouses, logistics and supply chain management.
Conducting both research projects and special agreements stipulated with local SMEs to provide operational support to specific problems on the following research areas:

• Production management, production scheduling, warehouse management
• Development of innovative tools for maintenance management in industrial companies; formulation of preventive maintenance plans; Predictive maintenance and optimization of the maintenance service level according to the related costs

• Integrated Quality/Safety/Environment Management Systems
