A degree course in biological sciences for clinical diagnostics
The University of Sannio activates the degree course in Biological Sciences for clinical diagnostics with teaching headquarters in Grottaminarda. From the 2023/2024 academic year, thanks to the collaboration with the Municipality of Grottaminarda and the ASL of Avellino, the Sannio University will have an important territorial presence in the Ufita Valley.
The initiative was presented by UNISANNIO, the ASL of Avellino and the Municipality of Grottaminarda on 27 February in the council chamber of Palazzo Portoghesi in Piazza Monumento. The Chief Executive Officer for Health and Relations with University Institutions, Antonio Vitale, the Councilor for Education, Marilisa Grillo, the Mayor Marcantonio Spera, the Director of the Department of Science and Technology of the University of Sannio, Pasquale Vito, the Rector Gerardo Canfora, and the Director General of the ASL of Avellino, Mario Nicola Vittorio Ferrante. The mayors of the area, the school directors of the various provincial institutes, the trade union organizations and other civil, military, health and religious authorities were present.
The teaching site, housed in the university and health center in Via Francesco Flammia, has 4 classrooms with around 140 seats, study and refreshment areas, rooms for professors and technical-administrative staff.
